Draw an oval or teardrop shape for the body
Add a small triangle or curved shape for the tail
Sketch a circle or oval for the eye
Draw a curved line for the mouth
Add a dorsal fin on top of the body
Add a pectoral fin near the middle side
Add a bottom fin near the underside
Draw a few curved lines for gills
Add scales with small overlapping arcs
Refine the body outline and smooth the shape
Erase extra sketch lines
Darken the final lines
Add simple shading if desired
