Carry the key card, phone key, or key fob
Sit in the driver’s seat
Press the brake pedal
Shift into Drive or Reverse using the gear selector
If the car is already on, release the brake and begin driving
If the car is off, the vehicle powers on automatically when you press the brake with a valid key present
