Lie flat on your back with your head first and feet pointed downhill
Keep your body as still and streamlined as possible
Use your calves and shoulders to make small pressure changes on the sled
Press more on the left side to turn left
Press more on the right side to turn right
Keep your feet together and toes pointed to help maintain control
Shift your weight subtly rather than making sudden movements
Use the sled’s runners and edge pressure to guide direction
Look in the direction you want to go
Stay relaxed and avoid oversteering
Follow track lines and adjust gradually through curves
Practice under proper coaching and safety supervision
