Adjust seat, mirrors, and steering wheel
Press the clutch pedal fully with your left foot
Move the gear lever to neutral
Start the engine
Keep the clutch pressed
Select first gear
Slowly release the clutch to the bite point
Gently press the accelerator
Continue releasing the clutch smoothly
Shift up by lifting off the accelerator, pressing the clutch, moving to the next gear, and releasing the clutch
Downshift by pressing the clutch, moving to a lower gear, and releasing the clutch smoothly
Stop by pressing the clutch and brake together
Shift to neutral when parked or stopped
Use the parking brake when parked
Practice in a safe, open area
