Open Spotify
Click your profile name
Select Settings
Scroll to Startup and Window Behavior
Turn off Open Spotify automatically after you log into the computer
On Windows, open Task Manager
Go to the Startup tab
Disable Spotify
On Mac, open System Settings
Go to General
Select Login Items
Remove Spotify from the list
Restart your computer
Check Spotify settings again if it still opens on startup
