Log in to Facebook
Click your profile picture (top right)
Select Settings & privacy
Click Settings
Go to Accounts Center
Select Personal details
Choose Account ownership and control
Select Deactivation or deletion
Choose Deactivate account
Select Continue to account deactivation
Choose a reason for deactivating
Enter your Facebook password if prompted
Confirm Deactivate account
Click Confirm to finish
If you want to suspend for review instead of deactivating:
Go to the Facebook Help Center
Search for “report a problem” or “account disabled”
Follow the prompts to submit an appeal
Submit any requested identification or verification if prompted
