Turn on the TV and the Dish receiver
Remove the remote batteries
Reinsert the batteries
Stand near the receiver
Press and hold the remote’s Pair or SAT button
Press the receiver’s Pair or System Info button if available
Wait for the light on the remote to flash or turn solid
Test the remote with the receiver
If it does not work, repeat the pairing process
Replace the batteries if the remote still does not sync
