Dry it completely with a soft microfiber cloth
Use a plastic polish or scratch remover
Apply a small amount to a clean cloth
Rub the scratch in small circular motions
Wipe away residue and inspect the result
Repeat if needed
For light scratches, use non-gel toothpaste
Rub gently with a soft cloth
Wipe clean and buff dry
For deeper scratches, use fine-grit sandpaper
Wet-sand carefully with very fine grit only
Keep the surface damp while sanding
Finish with plastic polish
Use a heat gun only with extreme caution on suitable plastics
Move the heat source constantly and keep it low
Stop immediately if the plastic warps
Test any method on a hidden area first
Avoid abrasive cleaners and rough pads
Replace the item if the scratch cannot be removed
