Read the package instructions before use
Check the expiration date
Remove the test from the wrapper
If using a test with a cap, remove the cap
Hold the absorbent tip in your urine stream for the time stated in the instructions, or dip it in a collected urine sample if directed
Replace the cap if applicable
Lay the test flat with the result window facing up
Wait the amount of time listed in the instructions
Read the result within the recommended time window
Discard the test after reading the result
