Unplug the dryer from the power source
Locate the thermal fuse on the dryer housing or blower assembly
Remove the access panel if needed
Disconnect the wires from the thermal fuse
Set a multimeter to continuity or ohms
Place one probe on each terminal of the thermal fuse
Check for continuity
If the meter shows continuity or a low resistance reading, the fuse is good
If the meter shows no continuity or infinite resistance, the fuse is bad
Replace the thermal fuse if it is faulty
Reconnect the wires and reassemble the dryer
