Open the Messages app
Open an existing conversation or start a new one
Tap the App Store icon next to the text field
Tap the red magnifying glass or search bar
Search for a GIF or browse the available GIFs
Tap the GIF you want to send
Tap Send if needed
To send a saved GIF, open Photos, select the GIF, tap Share, then choose Messages
Enter the recipient and send the message
