Change the water every 30 minutes
Use thin steaks for faster thawing
Separate individual steaks before thawing if frozen together
Microwave on the defrost setting in short intervals
Rotate and flip the steak during microwave thawing
Cook immediately after microwave thawing
Never thaw steak at room temperature
Keep the steak refrigerated if not cooking right away
