Place the imamah on your head with one end longer than the other
Keep the cloth centered on the forehead
Wrap the longer end around the head once or more
Bring the end across the back of the head and over the top
Tuck the loose end securely into the wrap
Adjust the folds so they sit evenly and firmly
Leave the tail or drape as desired
Smooth the fabric for a neat fit
