Check local window tint laws and allowable visible light transmission limits
Gather tools and materials: tint film, spray bottle, application solution, squeegee, razor blade, microfiber cloth, heat gun, measuring tape, cutting mat, and utility knife
Clean the windows thoroughly inside and out
Remove dirt, dust, grease, stickers, and adhesive residue
Dry the glass completely
Measure each window carefully
Cut the tint film slightly larger than the window shape
Spray the outside of the window with application solution
Place the film on the outside of the window to rough-cut and shape it if needed
Trim the film to fit the window precisely
Peel the liner from the tint film
Spray the inside of the window with application solution
Apply the film to the inside of the glass
Position the film correctly before it sticks
Use a squeegee to remove air bubbles and excess solution from the center outward
Heat-shrink the film on curved windows if necessary
Trim any final edges for a clean fit
Press down all edges firmly
Let the tint cure without rolling down windows
Avoid cleaning the windows until the tint has fully set
Inspect for bubbles, creases, or lifting edges and correct them if needed
