Lift the lips gently
Brush the outer surfaces of the teeth
Use small circular motions
Focus on the gumline and back teeth
Brush a few teeth at first if needed
Work up to brushing all teeth
Be calm and gentle
Reward the dog after brushing
Brush regularly, ideally daily
