Charge both phones and connect them to Wi-Fi

Sign in to your Apple ID on the iPhone
Reinstall any apps that did not transfer automatically
Transfer photos, videos, and documents manually if needed
Transfer contacts and calendars by syncing with Google or importing accounts
Transfer music by using Apple Music, iTunes, or manual file transfer
Check messages, photos, contacts, and apps on the iPhone after setup
