Back up the old iPhone to iCloud or a computer
Turn on the new iPhone
Place the old iPhone near the new iPhone
Follow the Quick Start prompts
Scan the animation with the old iPhone
Enter the old iPhone passcode on the new iPhone
Set up Face ID or Touch ID
Choose to transfer data from the old iPhone
Sign in with your Apple ID
Restore apps, settings, and data
Keep both iPhones connected to Wi-Fi and power
Wait for the transfer to finish
Check messages, photos, contacts, and apps on the new iPhone
Remove the old iPhone from your Apple ID if needed
