Back up your old iPhone
Turn on your new iPhone
Place both iPhones near each other
Follow the Quick Start setup on the new iPhone
Sign in with your Apple ID
Choose to transfer data from your old iPhone
Keep both devices connected to Wi-Fi and power
Wait for the transfer to finish
Insert your SIM card into the new iPhone if needed
Contact your carrier if your number does not activate automatically
Set up eSIM on the new iPhone if your carrier uses eSIM
Test calling and texting on the new iPhone
