Open the Google app or Chrome
Go to the Google homepage or open a Google search
Tap/click your profile icon
Select Settings
Find Search settings
Look for an option related to “AI Overview” or “Generative AI”
Turn the setting off, if available
If you don’t see the option, go to Google Search settings and check for “Generative AI” controls
If still not available, the feature may not be controllable in your region/account; try updating the app/browser and checking again
