Open the Google app or Gemini app
Tap your profile picture or initials
Go to Settings
Select Gemini settings or Google Assistant settings
Turn off Gemini or switch back to Google Assistant
If needed, disable Gemini app permissions in your device settings
On Android, go to Settings
Tap Apps
Select Gemini
Tap Disable or Uninstall updates if available
Turn off Gemini extensions in Gemini settings if you want to limit its access
Remove Gemini from your home screen or default assistant settings if it is set as the default assistant
