Press and hold the Power button
Tap Power off
Tap Power off again if prompted
If the screen is frozen, press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button together for about 10 to 20 seconds
Release the buttons when the phone turns off or restarts
If your Motorola phone has a side key menu, press and hold the Power button until the power menu appears, then select Power off
