Press the Home button on your Roku remote
Go to Settings
Select Accessibility
Select Captions mode or Subtitle settings
Turn Captions off or set Subtitles to Off
If needed, open the app or channel you are watching and turn off its internal subtitles in the playback menu
Restart the video if the subtitles do not disappear immediately
