Open the app or website that needs the webcam
Allow camera access when prompted
On Windows, open Settings > Privacy & security > Camera and turn on camera access
On Mac, open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera and allow the app
Check that the webcam is not covered or disabled
If using an external webcam, plug it in securely
Open the camera app to test it
Select the correct camera in the app’s settings if needed
