Push the cork into the bottle with a wooden spoon handle or similar blunt object
Use a key, screwdriver, or sturdy knife to twist into the cork and pull it out carefully
Drive two long screws into the cork, then pull them out with pliers
Wrap the bottle neck with a towel and tap the bottom firmly against a wall or shoe until the cork moves out
Use a bike pump and needle to inject air between the cork and wine to push the cork out
Heat the neck of the bottle gently to expand the glass and loosen the cork
Use a wire hanger bent into a hook to catch and pull the cork
Cut the foil and use a boot or shoe to tap the bottle bottom against a solid surface until the cork rises
Break the bottle neck only if absolutely necessary and handle shards with extreme care
