Select the option to unfreeze or lift the freeze
Choose whether to lift it temporarily or permanently
If requested, verify your identity with your PIN, password, or security questions
Submit the request and wait for confirmation
Contact Equifax by phone if you cannot access your online account
Use the Equifax freeze/unfreeze request page if available in your region
Keep your freeze PIN or password available for future changes
