Open the Start menu
Go to Settings
Select Apps
Select Installed apps or Apps & features
Find AVG Antivirus
Click Uninstall
Confirm the uninstall prompt
Follow the on-screen removal steps
Restart your computer if prompted
If AVG remains installed, download and run the AVG Clear tool
Follow the AVG Clear tool instructions
Restart your computer after the tool finishes
