Open WhatsApp
Go to the chat you want to unlock
Tap and hold the chat
Tap Chat lock or Unlock chat
Verify with fingerprint, Face ID, or device passcode
Open the Locked chats folder if needed
Tap the chat
Authenticate again to access it
Turn off Chat lock from the chat info if you want it permanently unlocked
