Fill a basin with lukewarm water
Add a small amount of hair conditioner or wool wash
Submerge the sweater and soak for 20 to 30 minutes
Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing
Lay the sweater on a towel and roll it up to remove more water
Place the sweater flat on a dry towel
Gently stretch the sweater back to its original shape while damp
Use rust-free pins to hold the edges in place if needed
Let the sweater air dry flat
Repeat the stretching process if necessary
Avoid hot water, twisting, and tumble drying
