Check your exact ASUS motherboard or laptop model
Go to the ASUS Support website
Search for your model
Open the Drivers and Tools or Support page
Download the latest BIOS file
Extract the downloaded file if needed
Copy the BIOS file to a USB drive formatted as FAT32
Restart the computer
Enter BIOS by pressing Del or F2 during startup
Open ASUS EZ Flash or the BIOS update utility
Select the BIOS file from the USB drive
Confirm the update
Do not turn off the computer during the update
Wait for the update to finish and the system to restart
Enter BIOS again after reboot if needed
Load optimized defaults if required
Save and exit BIOS
Check the BIOS version to confirm the update
