Make sure your AirPods are charged
Put your AirPods in their charging case
Connect the charging case to power
Keep your iPhone, iPad, or Mac nearby
Make sure the device is connected to Wi-Fi
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
Keep the AirPods in the case and the lid closed
Leave everything idle for at least 30 minutes
Check the firmware version on your device
Repeat the process if the firmware has not updated yet
