Check your exact Gigabyte motherboard model and current BIOS version
Download the latest BIOS file from the official Gigabyte support page for your motherboard
Extract the downloaded BIOS file if it is in a compressed archive
Copy the BIOS file to a USB flash drive formatted as FAT32
Restart the computer and enter BIOS by pressing Delete during startup
Open the Q-Flash utility in BIOS
Select Update BIOS
Choose the BIOS file from the USB drive
Confirm the update and do not turn off the computer during the process
Wait for the update to complete and the system to restart
Enter BIOS again after reboot
Load optimized defaults if required
Save changes and exit BIOS
Check the BIOS version to confirm the update was successful
