Open Device Manager
Expand Sound, video and game controllers
Right-click your sound device
Select Update driver
Choose Search automatically for drivers
Follow the on-screen prompts
Restart your computer if prompted
If needed, go to your PC or motherboard manufacturer’s website
Download the latest audio driver for your model
Run the installer and follow the instructions
Restart your computer after installation
If the driver is already installed, select Uninstall device in Device Manager
Restart your computer to reinstall the driver automatically
Check Windows Update for optional driver updates
Open Settings
Go to Windows Update
Select Advanced options
Open Optional updates
Install any available audio driver updates
