Download and install 7-Zip from the official website
Open 7-Zip File Manager
Navigate to the file or folder you want to compress
Select the file or folder
Click Add to create an archive
Choose the archive format
Set the compression level
Enter a password if needed
Click OK to create the archive
Right-click a file or folder to access the 7-Zip context menu
Choose Add to archive to compress files
Choose Extract Here to unpack files into the current folder
Choose Extract to to unpack files into a new folder
Open an archive by double-clicking it in 7-Zip File Manager
Select files inside the archive
Click Extract to save them to a folder
Use Test to check archive integrity
Use Delete to remove files from an archive
Use Copy or Move to manage files inside 7-Zip File Manager
Change archive settings such as compression method and split size when needed
Use 7-Zip for ZIP, 7z, TAR, and other supported formats
