Wear safety glasses
Secure the workpiece
Choose the correct drill bit
Insert the bit into the chuck
Tighten the chuck securely
Select the correct speed and mode
Mark the drilling point
Hold the drill firmly with both hands
Position the bit on the mark
Start drilling slowly
Apply steady pressure
Keep the drill straight
Stop periodically to clear debris
Reduce pressure as you near the end
Release the trigger
Wait for the bit to stop completely
Remove the drill bit if needed
Unplug or remove the battery
Clean and store the drill properly
