Read the manufacturer’s instructions for your steam cleaner
Fill the tank with the recommended amount of water
Attach the correct accessory for the surface you want to clean
Plug in the machine or charge it if it is cordless
Allow the cleaner to heat up fully before use
Test the steam on a small hidden area first
Hold the nozzle a short distance from the surface
Move the cleaner slowly and steadily over the area
Use short bursts of steam on stubborn dirt
Wipe away loosened grime with a clean cloth
Refill the water tank only after the unit has cooled if required
Empty any remaining water after use
Clean and dry the attachments before storing
Let the machine cool completely before putting it away
