Slide the crimp bead onto the beading wire
Add the clasp or loop component
Thread the wire back through the crimp bead
Pull the wire snug, leaving a small amount of slack
Position the crimp bead close to the clasp
Use crimping pliers to flatten the bead in the first notch
Fold the flattened bead in the second notch if needed
Trim excess wire close to the crimp bead
Cover the crimp bead with a crimp cover if desired
Repeat on the other end of the jewelry piece
