Start with clean, dry hair
Apply a heat protectant
Brush hair to remove tangles
Plug in the hot rollers and let them heat fully
Section hair into small, even parts
Roll each section from the ends toward the scalp
Secure each roller with a clip if needed
Roll the top, sides, and back evenly
Leave rollers in until hair is fully set
Let rollers cool completely before removing
Unclip and gently unwind each roller
Finger-comb or lightly brush the curls
Finish with hairspray if desired
