Open WhatsApp
Tap the chat icon or select an existing chat
Type your message in the text box
Tap the send button
To send a photo or video, tap the attachment icon and choose a file
To send a voice note, press and hold the microphone icon
To make a call, open a chat and tap the phone icon
To make a video call, open a chat and tap the video icon
To create a group, tap the menu or new chat option and select New Group
To add a status, go to the Status tab and post an update
To change settings, open the menu and tap Settings
