Check the care label for washing instructions
Use a front-loading washing machine or a large-capacity top-loader without an agitator
Remove the duvet cover and any bedding
Inspect for tears or loose seams and repair before washing
Use a mild, down-safe liquid detergent
Wash on a gentle or delicate cycle with cold or warm water
Run an extra rinse cycle to remove all detergent
Do not use bleach or fabric softener
Dry on low heat in a large dryer
Add clean tennis balls or dryer balls to help fluff the down
Pause the dryer periodically to break up clumps
Continue drying until the comforter is completely dry
Shake and fluff the comforter after drying
Air out the comforter if any moisture remains
Store in a breathable cotton bag when not in use
