Detangle the wig gently with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush
Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water
Add a small amount of wig shampoo to the water
Submerge the wig and swish it gently
Let the wig soak for a few minutes if needed
Rinse the wig thoroughly with cool water
Apply wig conditioner if suitable for the wig type
Rinse again until all product is removed
Gently squeeze out excess water without twisting
Pat the wig with a clean towel
Place the wig on a wig stand or mannequin head
Let the wig air dry completely
Comb or style the wig only after it is dry
