Turn off the unit and unplug it
Remove the front panel and air filter
Wash the filter with warm water and mild soap
Rinse the filter thoroughly and let it dry completely
Vacuum loose dust from the front grille and vents
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Clean the evaporator and condenser coils gently with a soft brush or coil cleaner
Clear debris from the drain holes and drip tray
Wipe the fan blades and accessible interior surfaces with a damp cloth
Let all parts dry completely before reassembling
Reinstall the dry filter and front panel
Plug the unit back in and test it
