Gather snowboard wax, wax iron, plastic scraper, nylon brush, clean cloth, and a vise or stable surface
Clean the base of the snowboard
Secure the snowboard base-up
Set the wax iron to a low, snowboard-safe temperature
Hold the wax against the iron and drip wax evenly onto the base
Spread the wax across the base with the iron in smooth passes
Keep the iron moving to avoid overheating the base
Let the snowboard cool completely
Scrape off excess wax with the plastic scraper from tip to tail
Brush the base with a nylon brush from tip to tail
Wipe the base clean with a cloth
Check for any missed spots and repeat if needed
Store the snowboard in a dry place after waxing
