Loop the cord into loose coils
Keep the loops the same size
Avoid tight bends or twists
Secure the coil with a Velcro tie, twist tie, or cord wrap
Leave the plug and connector ends accessible
Store the wrapped cord in a dry place
Label the cord if needed
