How To Write On An Envelope?

Write the recipient’s full name on the first line

Write the street address or P.O. box on the second line

Write the apartment, suite, or unit number on the same line as the street address or on the line above it

Write the city, state or province, and postal code on the third line

Write the country on the last line if mailing internationally

Write your return address in the top left corner

Place the postage stamp in the top right corner

Use clear, legible handwriting or printed text

Keep all address lines centered or aligned neatly on the front of the envelope

Avoid using abbreviations unless they are standard and accepted by postal services
