Open Chrome
Click the three-dot menu
Select Settings
Click Default browser
Click Make default
If prompted, choose Google Chrome in your system settings
On Windows, go to Settings
Click Apps
Click Default apps
Select Google Chrome
Set Chrome as the default for web browser and related file types
On Mac, go to System Settings
Click Desktop & Dock or General
Click Default web browser
Select Google Chrome
Close settings
Open a link to confirm Chrome is the default browser
