Gather a small, tight core object such as a marble, golf ball, or crumpled paper ball
Choose rubber bands of similar size for the first layer
Stretch one rubber band around the core
Add more rubber bands one at a time in different directions
Keep each band snug so the ball stays compact
Rotate the bands to cover gaps evenly
Use smaller bands first if the core is very small
Continue adding bands until the ball starts to feel round
Press and adjust the bands as needed to keep the shape even
Store extra rubber bands nearby for regular building updates
