Stop pulling hard
Check for fabric, thread, or lint caught in the teeth
Gently wiggle the zipper back and forth
Apply graphite from a pencil to the teeth
Rub a small amount of soap, wax, or lip balm on the teeth
Use tweezers to remove any trapped material
Hold the fabric near the zipper and slowly pull the slider
If the zipper is stuck on cloth, ease the fabric out carefully
Realign the teeth if they are misaligned
Clean the zipper with a soft brush if it is dirty
Use pliers to gently adjust a bent zipper slider if needed
Replace the zipper if it remains stuck or damaged
