Open Instagram and swipe right to open the Story camera
Take a photo or select one from your gallery
Tap the draw tool
Choose a color from the palette
Press and hold anywhere on the screen to fill the background with the selected color
If using a photo, use the highlighter or marker tool and press and hold to apply the color overlay
Tap the sticker icon if you want to add text or other elements on top
Save or post your Story when finished
