Use the first author’s last name followed by “et al.” in in-text citations for sources with three or more authors.
Example: (Smith et al. 24)
For two authors, include both last names joined by “and.”
Example: (Smith and Jones 24)
In the Works Cited entry, list the first author’s name in reverse order.
List the second author’s name in normal order.
For three or more authors, list the first author’s name followed by “et al.” in the Works Cited entry.
Example: Smith, John, and Jane Jones.
Example: Smith, John, et al.
