Blot again with clean towels
Sprinkle baking soda over the damp area
Let the baking soda sit for several hours or overnight
Vacuum up the baking soda thoroughly
If odor remains, repeat the vinegar and baking soda steps
Use an enzyme cleaner for stubborn urine stains or smells
Let the mattress air-dry completely before putting bedding back on
Place the mattress in a well-ventilated area or use a fan to speed drying
